First, laugh it all out. In Filipino, "tawa muna bago joke". Laugh until drop! Because of this act, your audience will think that your joke is really really really funny. When you have done this, it's a sign that it is a good beginning.

Second, "the all in 1" tip. You should remember that when you're given the opportunity to say a joke you should maximize all your efforts. Besides, the limelight is yours. You should make use of actions and sound effects. In this way, you can provide your audience a performance they will never forget.
